Ghana Boundary Commission Pays Courtesy Visit to Petroleum Commission.

 

A delegation from the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), led by its Commissioner General, Brigadier General Anthony Ntem, paid a courtesy call on the Ag. Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission.
The visit was to introduce Brigadier General Ntem, who assumed office following the exit of his predecessor, Major General Emmanuel Kotia.
Brigadier General Ntem conveyed his predecessor’s appreciation to the Petroleum Commission for its steadfast support during his tenure and expressed optimism for continued collaboration between the two institutions.
On her part, the Ag. CEO of the Commission, Ms. Emeafa Hardcastle expressed gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to work closely with other state agencies to advance national interest.  
The discussions touched on maritime dispute between Ghana and Togo on the Eastern border as well as progress on Ghana’s application to extend its continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles.  
As part of the visit, Brigadier General Ntem presented a copy of the Ghana Boundary Commission’s 2024 Annual Report to the Ms. Hardcastle and expressed appreciation to the Commission for its warm reception and continued cooperation.
